Tsugami America Appoints New Vice President of Sales and Business Manager

Salay Quaranta has been named vice president of sales for North America by Tsugami America. Quaranta, as vice president of sales, will oversee the Tsugami America business unit managers and regional sales managers in their efforts to meet and exceed changing client demands. “We are thrilled to have Salay Quaranta join the Tsugami America team. Her prior expertise allows her to have a thorough understanding of the manufacturing business while also offering a fresh, inventive perspective to our expanding brand. “Adding strong, forward-thinking personnel to our roster is an absolute priority as the company’s sales efforts become more refined and strategic,” says Michael Mugno, president of Tsugami America.

Quaranta has approximately two decades of brand and business development experience in the manufacturing industry, having worked for firms such as Trumpf Inc., Stanadyne Corporation, Fraunhofer ILT, and Joining Technologies. “I am overjoyed to have joined Tsugami America and such an incredible team.” They have a good reputation for teamwork and innovation. Customers are valued highly, and Tsugami is dedicated to providing them with precision solutions and service. “I am excited to work with talented individuals who share my passion for manufacturing and technology,” Quaranta says. The University of Connecticut awarded Quaranta bachelor’s and master’s degrees in materials science and engineering. She is a member of Women in Manufacturing and has served on the industrial advisory boards for Springfield Technical Community College’s Optics and Photonics Technology (LEOT) and Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET).
