04/09/2011: DEAL OF THE WEEK - NEW!!
During the month of September MTD launched the Deal of the week page, this is changed on a weekly basis and serves to provide engineers with what we consider to be a great deal. This will normally be an EXSTOCK machine or tooling accesory from a UK supplier. The DEAL of the week will also feature on our weekly newsletter circulated to our audience.

18/08/2011: New Survey Feature on MTD - Have Your Say..
During the month of August MTD launched its all new survey feature, this is set to give engineers the chance to have their say on popular topics. The survey question is postioned on the header of every page on MTD. The results are then published on our Survey results page, the last four feature. If you have an idea for a survey just contact us and we can run it for you.

05/07/2011: Quality Content Gets The Thumbs Up From Google
During the month of June Google released its Panda 2 update, the plan behind this launch was to rid Google's search results of any spam content or scrapped content. Since this update MTD has been able to capitalise further, our news for example is registered with Google and most days of the week at least one of our articles is published in its index.

29/06/2011: Content Explosion
During June 2011 MTD revamped its originally launched trawler to now search and find all the used machine tools for sale in the UK every day. Being a very sophisticated bit of software over the past couple of months we have tweaked and played with it in order to provide our user with the best experience. Now you'll find up to 1500 used machine tools.

06/05/2011: Happy Birthday MTD
Can you believe it has been 5 years, MTD was formed back in May 2006. The website went live in fact on the 28th May. In 5 hard working years we have managed what was almost unthinkable, the market has seen ups and downs but MTD has gone from strength to strength.

28/04/2011: SELL Your Machine Tool
In April, MTD launched the new SELL your machine tool page, following the success of the machine valuation section, this SELL feature takes it to the next level. 12/12/2011: MTD Trawler Launched
As MTD grows it becomes very difficult to manage customer accounts and make sure the information you are seeing on our website is up to date and accurate, in order to make sure this happens MTD has now installed a trawler. This new feature visits our customer's websites every 24 hours and updates any new information found on their website onto MTD.

23/03/2011: Spare Parts, Servicing and Training
In February MTD launched the interative services, training and spares sections. Each section consists of a simple form, designed to make engineers lives easy. The novel idea provides a very quick way of searching for the most competitive service engineers, programmer training and spare parts for a specific machine or accessory.

25/02/2011: Data Cleansing Service on MTD
After months of development MTD has now launched its integrated database service for machine tool and tooling suppliers, how does this work? well, MTD now employs the services of 5 telemarketers who are responsible for the cleansing of our ever growing database, the benefits to customers include targetted marketing data.
