CNC software firm appoints new managing director

Delcam, the leading software firm which supplies solutions for CNC machining organisations across the world, is to appoint a new managing director.

At its annual general meeting this week, Hugh Humphreys, the current managing director, announced that he would be stepping down after 20 years of service with the organisation, taking effect on August 1st.

Following Mr Humphreys' departure, Clive Martell, the current operations director at Delcam and overseer of the organisation's global operations in the precision engineering market, will step up to the plate.

Commenting on his upcoming role, Mr Martell stated: "The group has expanded from its UK origins to now have more than 150 local support offices in over 80 countries.

"I believe there remain significant opportunities to strengthen our market share and I am excited to be leading the Group’s continuing successful growth."

This week, Delcam also announced its partnership with Morthbend Pattern Works in Indiana, joining forces with the firm to streamline their CNC operations.
