Citizen Machinery to promote sliding head CNC lathes at EMO

Citizen Machinery is to promote five of its sliding head CNC lathes alongside a further five offerings from Miyano, a turning centre specialist.

It is hoped that this two-pronged display will be able to combine the interests of the modern customer, with Citizen acquiring 65 per cent of shares in Miyano Machinery during 2008.

Citizen Machinery's UK managing director Geoff Bryant explained: "It is logical to share stand space to promote the common objective and technical ability of both companies on the international stage as we did last year at the Japanese show JIMTOF."

He added that visitors will be able to appreciate how both productivity and the utilisation of machine tools can be "significantly improved" with the latest developments and concepts put forward by his organisation and Miyano.

Citizen Machinery is hosting an open house session at its Watford location between September 22nd and 24th, further highlighting the abilities of its turning centres and CNC lathes.
