Datron Dynamics to unveil new CNC machining centre

Datron Dynamics is to unveil an automated, five axis, high-speed CNC machining centre for small part manufacturing next month.

It will be the only CNC machining centre in its price range for producing small parts requiring tight tolerance, claims vice-president Robert Murphy.

Named the M8, Datron says the CNC machining centre is ideal for producing medical components, aerospace parts as well as electro-mechanical parts and offers a robotic interface.

"Customers who make use of the M8 with these options are generally at the forefront of their industry," Mr Murphy adds.

The M8 also has a steel bridge reinforced with polymer concrete for superior stability and support for heavier spindles, automatic tool change options for up to 30 tools and an LCD flat-panel display.
