Doosan CNC machining solutions 'increasingly popular'

More and more businesses are taking on Doosan machine tools from Mills CNC, it has been revealed.

Mills CNC continues to do well with sales of its Doosan CNC machining systems thanks to the changing attitudes of its customers and the demands of the modern market, it has been said.

The organisation explained that large, heavy and awkwardly-shaped complex parts are more commonly produced within the UK and many buyers are turning to Mills CNC due to its exclusive contract with Doosan.

The big machine tool portfolio from the Far East company has been extended, Mills CNC continued, with the launch of a new set of five-face, double-column machining centres with the DCM range.

DCM machines have up to 10,250mm x 4200mm x 700mm (XYZ) travels and can handle parts 68,000kg in weight.

Nick Frampton, the managing director of Mills CNC, said: "A lot of machine tool companies can hit some of the above criteria but Mills meets all of them - and the significant number of customer reference sites we have on our books is used to demonstrate (especially to new customers) our experience and proven track record."

Mills CNC delivers in excess of 340 machine tools to customers operating in the UK and Ireland's manufacturing sectors each year.
