FeatureCAM to be demonstrated in three extra events

Delcam is to extend the showcase of its precision engineering software across the US after it was met with praise during three shows across the continent, it was revealed.

The FeatureCAM offering, which is designed specifically to create the highest degree of automation possible for those operating milling machines and CNC lathes, will be shown in Wichita in Kansas, Hunstville in Alabama, as well as the Pacific Coast Machine Tool Expo in Santa Clara, California.

Average time savings estimated by the company are around 25 per cent for those using dual-core PCs, it was added.

Delcam North America president Glenn McMinn said: "We have been very pleased with the positive comments we have received on the new version of FeatureCAM at our launch events.

"The forthcoming exhibitions will give us more opportunities to show that the software still maintains its clear leadership in knowledge-based machining."

Earlier this month, Delcam was demonstrated at over 35 stands at the EMO exhibition, which was held in Milan from October 5th to 9th.
