LENOX announces new CNC machining bandsaw blades

Story added 29 June 2009.

A new series of tungsten carbide-tipped bandsaw blades have been announced by CNC machining expert LENOX, providing the UK and Ireland with the range after expanding from the US.

Designed for cutting major cross-sections of metals which would otherwise be difficult to machine, the organisation is hoping to help the marketplace with its newest offerings, which fall under the Tri-Tech CT branding.

The "robust construction" of the tools provided by LENOX allow for organisations to get longevity, low cost and high productivity during precision engineering tasks, as the Tri-Tech CT has a "proprietary set-style tooth pattern" which "provides strength and durability at the cutting edge".

Furthermore, the sawing action with the Tri-Tech technology allows businesses to produce straight cuts and eliminate the "pinching and seizing" which can arise from the machining of high-stress and work-hardening metals and alloys, allowing a company to be fully productive.

Recently, LENOX has been celebrating a number of users and suppliers of industrial tools who have been making waves in terms of community contributions, naming the contest the Extra Mile Hero.
