Mazak is 'first choice for aerospace'
Story added 02 October 2009.
Yamazaki Mazak will be attending Aero Engineering 2009 at Manchester Central this November, aiming to provide visitors with an "ideal opportunity" to look into its range of
CNC machining systems.
The
precision engineering company explained that its experience with
CNC lathes, ranging from two-axis offerings to multi-axis systems such as the Integrex range, can boost business profits hugely.
A lot of this is down to the organisation's Done-in-One philosophy, which aims to reduce waste and improve productivity through a single-machine approach.
Tony Saunders, the UK sales director for Yamazaki Mazak, explained that the benefits of the Done-in-One philosophy are "obvious and quantifiable", adding that the experience of customers highlights the "significant savings" to be had from reduced machine set-ups and the amount of work in progress.
He continued: "It is also the case that the requirement for fixturing and special tooling is reduced significantly or eliminated altogether, while production bottlenecks that stem from traditional multi-machine operations are removed and production scheduling becomes routine."
Last month, GibbsCAM announced its partnership with Mazak in several shows in the US, with Gibbs and Associates pairing their software with the
CNC lathes and
machine tools of the worldwide leader.
