Subcontracting to Beakbane is 'great in current climate'

Machinery protection and bellows expert Beakbane is now entering subcontracting for precision engineering operations involving sheet metal fabrication, it has been announced.

The organisation hopes that its offer to businesses in the UK will help them maintain a solid profit during the economic downturn, offering a "well-established and financially-sound" option when many other subcontracting options have become less viable.

It has also updated its CNC milling machine capabilities, re-equipping its sheet metal operation with a Trumpf 3030 laser profiling machine and two LVD 3m CNC Easy Form Laser press brakes to enhance its accuracy on punching and profiling.

Managing director of the company Barry Reeves said that Beakbane offers a comprehensive service which can match any desires of a company.

He continued: "We have the support, resources and stability of a large independent company behind our subcontract manufacturing service and have retooled with the latest sheet metal machinery to expand into this market."

Beakbane can work with a number of materials, including polymers, fabrics and metals, with its services being brought in to help out a number of industries including transport and CNC machine tools.
