Vero announces new software for precision engineering

Vero Software has announced that it has released Machining Strategist v11 as a means of satisfying companies using multi-axis CNC lathes.

The software is capable of generating optimum roughing and finishing CNC toolpaths for both the office and shop-floor environment and has enhanced toolpath calculation times to deliver "dramatic productivity gains" to the investor.

Gerard O'Driscoll, the research and development director at Vero, explained that with continual adoption of high-speed machining in the mould and die market, "our latest developments have been driven by customers to ensure we remain at the technological forefront of CAM development".

He continued: "The productivity increases will not only benefit our users but also those who use our library components within their own CAM systems"
