Ward CNC appointed distributor for Hyundai-Kia

Story added 04 March 2009.

A UK machine tools specialist has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for Hyundai-Kia's CNC lathes and machining centres, it has been announced.

Ward CNC revealed that the "world-class range" provided by Hyundai-Kia - which is available to customers around the country - has expanded the firm's portfolio allowing it to sell one of the widest ranges of precision engineering components and machines in Britain.

The company emphasised that it is able to provide many of its products for demonstration at its Sheffield base. Due to the demand for CNC lathes and milling machines in the current climate it is also able to quickly respond to inquiries and deliver them to customers.

Managing director of Ward CNC Simon Whitworth said: "The Hyundai-Kia range can only build on Ward CNC's established reputation among many blue chip manufacturers and, indeed, sub-contractors of every size, of being able to provide high-quality and effective standards of supply and support."

The company uses showrooms and workshop facilities with a floorspace size of 60,000 sq ft with overhead craneage of up to 40 tonnes capacity.
