Yamazaki Mazak unveils opening dates for new technology centre

Yamazaki Mazak is to move forward with the building of its new European Technology Centre on the site of its European headquarters in Worcester.

The company revealed that the new facility will welcome its first guests at an Opening Week event between November 25th and December 1st, in turn hoping to underline its commitment to helping European and UK manufacturers alike through productivity and profitability increases.

David Jack, the European group managing director, said: "This significant investment shows Yamazaki Mazak's support for manufacturing and ensures we are best placed to demonstrate how value, innovation and performance will lead to increased productivity and profitability for Mazak customers - our VIPs."

He added that the opening week will allow visitors to have the opportunity to see the latest machines as well as technology and manufacturing support that can be offered.

Yamazaki Mazak was recently partnered at this month's EMO machine tool event in Milan by Delcam, the leading UK manufacturer of CADCAM systems.
