Story added 06 March 2010.
For Mollart Engineering of Chessington in Surrey, MACH 2010 is the first time the company will debut its total concept of “Hole Solution” capability by presenting its deep hole drilling machines, its tooling solutions from Botek and the recently acquired Bencere product range plus its highly successful added-value capability to deep hole drilling via its subcontract machining services.
Critical to the niche market of the Mollart business and its world leading presence across the deep hole drilling international market is the capability to combine all the facets of hole production. As a result, this links a network of customers from semiconductor, oil and gas, automotive related, mould and die, medical and general engineering to continuously build and develop new orders of expertise in providing application and productivity solutions.
At MACH 2010 the Mollart stand will feature presentations from its wide range of deep hole drilling machines that cover micro machining, multi-spindle and large bore applications as well as special purpose solutions. Tooling expertise will include the vast array of standard and examples of special deep hole drills from Botek and the recently acquired Mollart Bencere product range, covering drilling, recessing, counterboring and hole deburring, roller burnishing and superfinishing of bores and faces.
With two high technology production facilities in Chessington, Surrey and Resolven South Wales, where highly specialised components are produced for its customers, the type of operations performed include the use of latest deep hole drilling techniques, turn-milling, milling, honing, plus advanced deburring using abrasive flow and ultrasonic cleaning. These facilities will be portrayed on the stand with sample components.
