The new heavy duty KH63G horizontal machining centre from Hyundai-Kia offers the ideal ‘mid-range’ high-performance, cost-effective solution for a comprehensive variety of multi-loaded workpieces. The horizontal machining centre produces 8,000/4,500 revs/min to complement the standard 40-tool ATC (options are available for 60, 90 and 120 tools) for tools up to 245 mm diameter and 600 mm long, and tool-to-tool/chip-to-chip times are just 5.5/9 secs.

The KH63G provides consistently stable machining and superior rigidity through its T-type cast iron structure, while the innovative Y guide plate maintains high-accuracy cutting by constantly ‘retaining’ the main spindle head against the column in all eight planes.
