New Schunk Intec CNC handling system
Story added 07 August 2009.
A cartesian arm handling system for
CNC machining centres is now available from Schunk Intec.
The PP2300/2400 innovative drive concept has a compact design with a backlash-free system, the firm explains.
Its 2300 version has three linear axes, while an additional rotay axis is available on the 2400.
The
CNC machining offerings are "silent and precise" and feature dust protection covers to allow them to be used in applications with strict hygiene requirements.
Schunk Intec commented: "The PP2300/2400 are easy to integrate into machines and systems and can also be used as a standalone system - all that is required is a power supply and a laptop."
Formed in 1945, Schunk is a family-owned business with five manufacturing facilities and a network of distribution partners and subsidiaries.
Schunk Intec UK was opened in 1998 following demand for the firm's clamping and automation products.
