Precision engineering software experts target Vietnam
Story added 02 July 2009.
As part of its bid to extend the knowledge of computer-aided manufacturing in the
precision engineering market, a British firm is heading to the Far East.
Delcam is to visit Vietnam for a three-day spell to demonstrate its complete solution which can be used with milling machines,
CNC lathes and other equipment.
Taking place in the nation's capital Ho Chi Minh City between July 8th and 11th, it is hoped that the wide range of software will be taken on board by technological companies from the country and surrounding areas.
Along with its signature software PowerMILL - which is specially made for high-speed and five-axis machines - Delcam will also be showing FeatureCAM, PartMaker for Swiss-type lathes and turn-mill equipment, as well as ArtCAM for engraving and routing.
ArtCAM's popularity in the US has resulted in Delcam organising its 2009 ArtCAM User Group Meeting in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kansas City, which will kick off on September 30th.
