Roland Willott retires from Victor CNC
April 7th 2014 represents an important day for Rochdale based Victor CNC. Roland Willott will retire from the company after being with the business since 1984. Formally Managing Director, Roland handed over the reins to Tony Gannon on January 1st this year.
Tony now assumes the role of Managing Director having been Works Director since 1991. A furtherance that has been welcomed by all at Victor CNC and Victor Tiachung. Tony's experience on both Victor's machinery and the business ensures the smoothest of Managing Director changeovers any business could wish for.
A company that operates valuing long term employment is often unappreciated in modern times. Collectively between Roland and Tony, Victor have enjoyed over sixty years of service and seen a business expand into a leading CNC machinery supplier in the UK.
Roland took over as Managing Director in 2002 and has seen the business through over a decade of trading: 'We've had some great years during my tenure, we've also had some tough times, especially during recessions. It has been a real pleasure to spearhead this business and work with a team of individuals dedicated to making Victor CNC a real success.'
'Most recently I've enjoyed orchestrating the launch of our new VMAX product, which has already hit the ground running.'
'I couldn't wish to hand over to a more suitable candidate. Tony has all the experience, knowledge and desire to continue the growth of the company.'
All the team at Victor CNC wish Roland the best for the future hoping he will at last have the time to polish his clubs and improve his languishing handicap.
