WorkXplore To Demonstrate PMI Capability at French Trade Fair

The latest versions of Edgecam, VISI, WorkNC and WorkXplore CAD/CAM solutions from Vero Software will be on show at the Industrie et sous-traitance du Grand Ouest (Western France Industry and Outsourcing) exhibition. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the complete range of Vero's industrial solutions.

The exhibition, which takes place between March 20 – 23 in Nantes, will be attended by around 10,000 visitors. Regional and national industry delegates will be able to meet and exchange ideas under one roof.

This exhibition is mainly intended for small and medium-sized companies but is also of interest to larger industrial groups and offers a real opportunity for Vero Software (Stand 185, Hall 1) to meet existing clients, as well as proposing its industrial solutions to potential prospects in new markets.

This event will also be the occasion for Vero Software to demonstrate its investment in Industry 4.0 and French Fab.

In addition to new features added to Edgecam in terms of programming automation, VISI's new plastic injection mold design module and the introduction of the powerful Waveform roughing technology into other WorkNC toolpaths, WorkXplore's capacity to handle PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) is a topic that Antonio Parisse, Managing Director of Vero Software France, wants to highlight:

"One of the first steps towards Industry 4.0 is the simplification and management of data flow. Our customers are increasingly being asked to recover PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) which is generated by the leading CAD software brands. Whether it's for establishing quotes or managing tolerances and constraints of the parts to be produced, WorkXplore provides a very simple solution for recovering 100% of exported PMI data."

And he adds: "PMI data removes the need for 2D drawings and the transmitted data is secure and reliable. With its exceptional level of PMI data recovery (for example, the recovery of 'scene' information contained in Catia files), WorkXplore gives our clients the possibility to easily and economically enter the world of Industry 4.0."
