Turner Tools is delighted to introduce the new NEO Series of end mills from OSG for a variety of high speed machining applications such as slotting, plunge milling and general rough machining.

Designed to suppress tool chatter in high speed milling applications, the new NEO Series of OSG end mills have a variable lead and a positive edge design that cuts through hard materials such as alloy steels, stainless and hardened steel,  heat resistant and titanium alloys with ease.

The new four flute line of stub length end mills efficiently remove swarf from the cutting area to further reduce vibration whilst the variety of corner radii available extends tool life and eliminates edge breakages. With an unequal spacing of the cutting edges and flutes, surface finishes are improved and cutting forces are reduced.

The new end mills are produced from a micro grain carbide substrate that is TiAlN coated to enhance tool life and longevity. Available in diameters that include 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20 and 25mm, the NEO Series has an overall length from 50 to 120mm with a flute length from 6 to 50mm depending upon the diameter selected. The NEO range is available with a selection of corner radii on each diameter. For example, the 3mm diameter tool is offered with a 0.2 or 0.5mm radius whilst the largest 25mm cutter has the option of a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5mm radius. In addition to the four fluted cutters, Turner Tools can also supply a 6 fluted variant in diameters from 6 to 25mm with a straight shank and a cutting length of 12 to 50mm.
