Edgecam, the production machining CAD/CAM software, will demonstrate their major new release at the EMO Encore event which is taking place at Mazak’s European Technical Centre in Worcester.


Mazak’s EMO Encore event is a chance for those who may have missed the highlights from the recent EMO Milan show. Visitors to the event will see over 20 machines in live cutting action, including machines previously only seen at EMO Milan.


Edgecam will showcase their latest release at the event - 2016 R1, which contains over 30 important new and enhanced items of CAD and CAM functionality for milling, turning, and wire EDM.


Wesley Tonks, Edgecam’s Strategic Partnership Manager said “we are delighted to be supporting our partner, Mazak, at this event, which will give visitors the chance to see the latest machine demonstrations they may have missed at EMO. We are also excited to show the latest software enhancements in the 2016 R1 release”.


The EMO Encore event, which runs from 8th – 11th December, turns the spotlight on Mazak’s latest machines; giving visitors the chance to see Mazak’s new innovations and learn about manufacturing of the future.
