Mills Has ‘Different Strokes’ with Live Event Announcement

Mills CNC has announced that it will be hosting a ‘Strokes of Genius Live’ event at its Technology Campus in Leamington Spa on the 18th and 19th of October.

Telling MTDCNC about the event, Mills CNC’s Tony Dale, the Technical Director says: “Some of the technology that people can see is new control technology, which is extremely important. Operators, the ease of jobs and programming are critical factors and the new 15 inch Siemens touch screen control will be central at the event. Initially, the control will be offered on our DNM range of vertical machining centres and it will eventually spread across the range.”

The Puma lathes have also seen an update with the new 2600SY undergoing developments that will see an improved performance level, accuracy, run-out and a host of other new features that will soon be announced.

From an automation perspective, Mills CNC will be showcasing the Hydrafeed Robojob automation system. There will also be a seminar on automation whilst Sandvik Coromant will be demonstrating their new Prime Turn product line, which will be supported with live demonstrations.
