Sales and excellent leads for Jones & Shipman at MACH

Sales and excellent leads for Jones & Shipman at MACH

Added to MTDCNC by Hardinge Jones and Shipman on 19 April 2016

“Levels of interest in the machines were very good” reports Jones & Shipman managing director Mike Duignan “and we took two orders off the stand and close on 200 good quality leads so we really have no complaints.”

At MACH, J&S highlighted their upgraded version of the Suprema 650 EASY M, the large capacity UltraMat CNC 1000 and the 624 EASY and TechMaster 844 surface and profile grinding machines.

Completing the line-up was a Kellenberger Kel-Vista 1000, the high economy CNC universal grinding machine and – making its UK debut – the specialist Voumard VM 150, an ID grinding machine combined with OD grinding capabilities.

One of the stand sales was for an UltraMat 1000 CNC purchased by Cheltenham based Future Advanced Manufacture Ltd. with the new machine set to work alongside its existing Suprema 1000 CNC grinder.

“There was good interest in the surface grinders as well,” Mike Duignan adds “with the 624 EASY and TechMaster attracting interest in their upgrades and the EASY software and controls.

“All in all, a very worthwhile event which has provided a sound base to move forward with customers existing and new in a range of worthwhile projects, he concludes.
