Tornos and Matsuura Announce Open House Dates

Added to MTDCNC by Matsuura Machinery Ltd on 17 September 2015

In conjunction with Matsuura, Tornos is delighted to announce the dates of its much anticipated annual Open House Event. From the 10th to the 12th of November, the event will be co-hosted by Tornos and Matsuura at their neighbouring facilities in Coalville, Leicestershire.

Now recognised as one of the annual highlights on the UK's machine tool 'Open House' schedule, this cornerstone of the autumn event calendar has so much technology on show, can you afford not to attend?

Tornos will be demonstrating the latest innovations in turning technology with its renowned GT26 turning centre and the SwissNano, which has taken the micro-machining industry by storm. Alongside these machines will be a raft of new machine tools that will arrive fresh from the EMO Milan exhibition in October. With exact machine models yet to be announced, Tornos promises that the November event will be the first opportunity for manufacturers to see the machines in the UK.

As always, Tornos engineers will be on hand to give an insight into the very latest in turning technology and its associated benefits. This will also be the case at neighbouring Matsuura, where the very latest machining centre  innovations will be highlighted.

The relevance of this event cannot be overstated, with two of the world leaders in machine tool technology demonstrating their very latest product lines. In addition to these tantalising prospects will be products, technical staff and advice from  market leaders in cutting tool, workholding, machine monitoring, coolants and surface treatment sectors. At this early stage, renowned manufacturers such as Arno, Floyd Automatic Tooling, Wogaard, Rainford Precision, Motorex, Baty, PSL Datatrack and Iscar have announced their attendance with more to be confirmed shortly.
