Added to MTDCNC by MTDCNC on 07 November 2016

The sales growth at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) keeps climbing with October sales up 12% with the total sales of 46,325 being a new monthly record. Regardless of the Brexit situation, Europe was the company’s strongest sales region with a 33% increase in sales.

Since January, JLR has sold over 118,000 vehicles, an increase of 74%. Alongside this, Land Rover sales also climbed 12% in the first 10 months to 362,581 vehicles. The 480,349 total is up 23% on the same period in 2015.

The October sales figures were driven by increased demand for the Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport and the Jaguar F-Pace.

Throughout 2016 retail sales growth across all key regions yhas climbed by 33% in Europe, 29% in China, 22% in the UK and 25% in the US. The continued growth in all markets can only be seen as a positive for the UK's largest automotive manufacturer and its UK based supply chain.
