New MTDCNC website

Added to MTDCNC by MTDCNC on 11 March 2016

I'm sure that just reading the headline of this text is filling our readers and followers with excitement and anticipation. Yes, MTDCNC is about to launch a brand spanking new website...
Some of you may ask, why? Well, to put it in simple terms, we've outgrown our existing platform and in doing so, its now time to bring something new and fresh to the market. The new platform will be a channel based website that will instantly improve visibility and user friendliness for our customers and followers alike - a win, win situation for everyone!
Our new website will be built upon the latest HTML5 structure that will enable us to incorporate more social media, more video content and even more client pages, all of which can be navigated with astounding ease.
As for making the platform a channel based website, we will be able to be more attentive to your core discipline, so whether its machine tools, cutting tools, CAD/CAM or metrology - we'll be covering all the bases. In addition, this 'channel' based strategy will enable us to pay greater attention to growth sectors such as 3D-Printing and automation.
The manufacturing industry that we all hold so dear, evolves at a phenomenal pace. When MTDCNC was conceived just less than 10 years ago, 3D-printing was never going further than the design department and machine tool automation was primarily for OEMs and large scale production businesses. Now, you can 3D-print anything from running shoes and push bikes through to heart valves and the flexibility of automation now makes it a feasible option for 'Fred in a Shed' (who after years of visits, we still haven't found). What a difference a decade makes. So naturally, we have to move with the times too.
Putting it into his own neat analogy our Joe Reynolds (that's the fat bald one in the videos), says: "The MTD website has been like building a house, we had a great property, but when the family grew we had to extend. After we extended over and over, we realised that whatever we did, we could never build a castle on a plot of land for a terraced house. Now, we've invested in the future and we're looking forward to presenting it at MACH 2016."
We've given you a teaser on what's to come, so make sure you keep watching and following your favourite industry resource like a depraved stalker to get the latest updates....
