Unicut in 7th Heaven at MACH 2016

Added to MTDCNC by MTDCNC on 12 February 2016

As the UK's leading subcontract manufacturer of precision turned parts, Unicut Precision will be returning to MACH to emphasise why it is the yardstick that all other subcontract manufacturers are measured against. On Stand 5489 at MACH 2016, the Welwyn Garden City company will be discussing its investment in seven machine tools in the last 12 months and why this makes Unicut a chosen 'supply partner' for globally renowned OEMs.

As a prestigious subcontract business that has always maintained its investment levels in new technologies, Unicut Precision spent over £750,000 on new machine tools in 2015. With a machine shop filled with cutting edge technology, Unicut strictly adheres to its policy of replacing machines over a few years old with meticulous detail. However, when the company installed two new Citizen A20 sliding head turning centres in 2014, the performance, precision, flexibility and lead-time improvements brought a paradigm shift. The results led the company to install an additional 6 Citizen A20 machines in December 2015, an investment that was in parallel with the purchase of a Miyano BNA fixed head turning centre.

Commenting upon the recent investment levels and why this will be appealing to visitors to MACH 2016, Unicut Precision's (Job Title - i.e. Director etc) Zoe Nicholson says: "Our investment in technology, machine tools and highly skilled staff has been recognised by some major OEMs at previous MACH events and we are confident that our most recent acquisitions will once again raise eyebrows among buyers and also demonstrate our commitment to our existing customer base."

"As a 'supply partner' to major manufacturers across all industry sectors, we have invested in a 'focus factory' that is dedicated to a particular long term project, we also have an impressive storage and goods-out facility whereby parts can be booked into stock ready for shipping as per the customer's delivery requirements. With added machine tool capacity and the subsequent capability levels that exceed that of our competitors, we are confident that our levels of service will appeal to buyers attending MACH 2016."

To underpin its investment and growth levels, the Hertfordshire subcontractor has also invested heavily in its staff and their expertise. So, if you want to benefit from components and assemblies produced by highly skilled staff on industry leading technology to an on-time delivery level beyond 99%, which is all overseen by the most stringent quality control procedures and standards, it may be worth visiting the Unicut Precision Stand 5489 at MACH 2016 to find out more.
