Dugard has now introduced its new line of XP machining centres

Added to MTDCNC by Dugard on 19 January 2017

Dugard has now introduced its new line of XP machining centres; and the latest to roll off the production line is the new 760XP machining centre. Moving on from the 'XE' Series, the new XP offers more power, speed and also more tools.

Demonstrating how the new XP has moved things on from the previous model, the new XP Series has a 28 tool change system as opposed to 20 on the previous XE models. Another feature that comes as standard on the new addition is through spindle coolant, 44m/min rapids and heavier linear guideways as well as a 12,000rpm spindle motor. The 760XP is available with the choice of a Siemens, Heidenhain or FANUC CNC control unit. With a small footprint and a lot of capability, the new 760XP is the ideal machine tool for the subcontract machine shop. The XP series ranges from 760mm to 2m of travel in the X-axis with a 760mm, 1m, 1350mm, 1600mm and the 2m bed available.

Dugard has undertaken extensive customer research and used the feedback to drive product development for the UK customer base. The XP is the fruit of this labour and there is little doubt the XP is the machine of choice for the modern subcontract machine shop. As standard, the machine is supplied with full training, installation and commissioning, warranty and much more. For further details contact Dugard.
