New finance options available from Star GB

Added to MTDCNC by Star Micronics GB Limited on 29 November 2013

As we enter the final quarter of 2013, which has been an eventful year for us at Star Micronics, we are rolling out a range of unique opportunities to easily acquire one of our sliding head lathes. Our machines have a great reputation for increasing productivity without sacrificing accuracy – installing a Star machine can have a profound positive effect on your business, so these opportunities are not to be passed up!

We kick off with a couple of new offers for October, beginning with the 3-year rental plan. This fantastic offer includes delivery and installation of your machine along with five days’ on-site training. The plan also requires no deposit and is fully allowable against tax! All machines include an accompanying bar feed unit and the option to buy your machine at the end of the rental period. These packages include:

•SB-20 E lathe with FMB Turbo 2-20/3200 bar feed
•SR-20R III lathe with FMB Turbo 2-20/3200 bar feed
•SV-32 lathe with FMB Turbo 3-36/3200 bar feed

Each machine available on this scheme is also available through the low rate hire purchase option. This affordable payment plan option requires only a 5% deposit upon order placement, followed by a further 5% upon delivery of your machine. A substantial production pause is included to give you time to get to know the machine, along with – for a limited period only – a first-year capital allowance of up to £250,000!

Finance Options for Any Star GB Lathe

Along with the above offers, we also offer a number of finance schemes which can be used against any Star machine. Our AIA capital allowance scheme allows you to take advantage of the increased capital allowance limit, which was raised from £25,000 to £250,000 in December 2012 for a period of two years.  Using this, you can offset your plant purchase against your company profit.

Star has been granted considerable access to the distribution of a government-funded growth programme known as the Regional Growth Fund, or RGF. This initiative is set to run until 2016 and has been allocated a budget of £2.6billion, giving you plenty of time to partake and get some financial help in acquiring new machinery.

Another option open to Star customers is the Funding For Lending scheme, which is a government-backed scheme intended to help businesses take out loans with very competitive rates of interest. This aids the easy purchase of plant and machinery while reducing repayments and relieving financial stress.

With these options open to potential buyers, as well as the traditional triptych of Straight Purchase, Lease, and Hire Purchase, there have never been more ways to get your hands on a sliding head lathe from Star Micronics.
