Kevin Gilbert joins Mills CNC
Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of Doosan machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has appointed Mr Kevin Gilbert as its new Customer Support Manager, starting early February 2013. Mr Gilbert will have overall control of the post-machine tool sales activities at Mills CNC.
The position of Customer Support Manager is new to Mills CNC and, says Nick Frampton, Mills CNC’s Managing Director:
“We are very conscious of the need to continue to invest in after-sales support to keep up with the growth of our machine tool sales and our increase in market share. Kevin’s goal is simple…to deliver to our customers the best service support in the industry.”
Mr Gilbert’s previous experience makes him ideally suited to the role and to ensure that Mills’ considerable after-sales service resource is directed and targeted at delivering real benefits for customers. He has previously ran his own subcontract service company, worked for a large multi-national services support company and has extensive knowledge and experience of working in the machine tool industry.
Mills CNC has an extensive after-sales service operation with a 55 strong team delivering over 450 machines a year.
