ETG make their mark in 2013..

Added to MTDCNC by ETG on 23 December 2013

MTDCNC recently spent the morning at The Engineering Technology Group in Southam, Warwickshire learning all about this ambitious businesses plan for 2014.

Now almost a year since their distribution agreement with Hardinge was finalised, The Engineering Technology Group has firmly positioned itself as one of the UK's leading machine tool solution providers. With a product port-folio that includes Hardinge Bridgeport, Nakamura, Feeler, Handtmann and Chiron machine tools, whatever the CNC machining requirement, ETG will engineer the right solution.

Over the last twelve months the company has invested significantly in building the right infrastructure to support volume sales. New team members, new showroom facilities and a new focus, now complete this evolving Engineering specialist business.

Martin Doyle, Company Director told MTDCNC:

'2013 was always going to be a transition year for ETG, on evaluation it was far more than that. We delivered on every target we set and enter 2014 very positive about manufacturing, machine tool sales and our companies future.'

'I'm taking a break this Christmas and using the time to reflect on what has been an extremely busy year. I attribute the companies success this year to our whole team. Every individual has been focused on re-educating the market-place about what The Engineering Technology Group now offers.'

'Our priniciples have also supported us every step of the way. Next year Mach 2014 will give us a further chance to demonstrate the depth of our product port-folio.'

After enjoying the hospitality and our interview, we took a trip into their newly furnished showroom. Equipped wall to wall with technology from Feeler, Nakamura and Hardinge Bridgeport makes it easy to see why this business will be looking to start and end 2014 in 'pole position' on the machine tool sales grid.
