TRUMPF processes offer 35% saving...see this and more at their Open House

Making the most of one of the World's leading machine tool suppliers hospitality, MTDCNC visited TRUMPF at their Luton headquarters today 15th May. With a 'Focus on Functionality' this weeks TRUMPF open house exhibits bending, laser cutting and marking technology.

An event set to educate, certainly didn't disappoint. Engineers could enjoy demonstrations, presentations and seminars all delivered by TRUMPF professionals from around Europe.

The 'Focus on Functionality' was particulary evident during one seminar which highlighted savings in both time and money that can be made by engaging in new processes during the design and preparation phase. Bending is one of TRUMPF's more common machining processes. In a demanding manufacturing environment, reducing the quantity of bends per part and still achieving the same finished component is actually easier than you think, as demonstrated on the (35% saving image to the right).

We also spent some time with Anthony in charge of Tooling Sales. Some of the tooling and accessories offered by TRUMPF are exceptionally effective and join the machine tools in offering vast savings on both set-up times and overall part quality.

The event runs all week, so be sure to visit if your business is involved in Laser cutting, Bending, Shearing or Marking.
