XYZ opens its doors for birthday open house
Hot on the heels of a highly successful MACH show XYZ Machine Tools is hosting a 30th anniversary open house at its Burlescombe, Devon headquarters. The event is a great opportunity for those that couldn’t attend MACH 2014 at the National Exhibition centre to see the full range of XYZ machine, from manual lathes through to five axis machining centres, including the brand new XYZ 2op machining centre. For those that did get to MACH the event presents the chance to have more detailed discussions on their machine requirements, in a more relaxed environment.
'We wanted to host this event as close to the original date that XYZ Machine Tools was formed, and as it falls on a Thursday and Friday it will allow visitors coming from further afield to take advantage of the Devon countryside and maybe make a weekend of their trip. We will have a large number of machines available for demonstration in our newly refurbished showroom and visitors will also be able to see first-hand the large number of machines that we keep in stock, alongside our extensive stores of spare parts for every one of the 20,000 machine we have ever sold,' says Nigel Atherton, Managing Director, XYZ Machine Tools.
The event takes place over the 1st and 2nd May with the doors opening at 8:00 am when bacon rolls will be available to kick off proceedings, with a buffet lunch and celebration birthday cake being shared from midday. To allow for planning the catering those wishing to attend are kindly asked to register by going to the XYZ Machine Tools website www.xyzmachinetools.com and indicating which day they plan to visit. This will allow free entry into a draw to win one of four London Weekend Theatre breaks for two people.
