Applitec has now developed a new family of inserts combining the machinability benefits of X inserts with the ‘chip rolling’ capability of ISO inserts. This new addition to the Top-Line range of Applitec inserts, the 700ZX geometry inserts is now available from Floyd Automatic Tooling.
The exciting new 700ZX Series is very well suited to the machining of difficult to machine materials and super alloys whilst offering improved tool life. The 700ZX Series improves swarf management and reduces machine downtime, thus improving productivity.
Applitec can produce the 700ZX Series to order with specific shapes that include cutting angles and chip rollers adapted to suit particular machining and material constraints.
