The Schwanog WSI system has for years continued to set standards for ID machining of precision parts. The popularity of this system with our customers is quite easy to explain.
Next to ID grooving it also allows ID turning and the combination of both machining processes with a single tool. This not only leads to a high level of flexibility but also reduces part cost by up to 40 %, thus offering significant savings. The WSI system is predestined for machining Ø 2–15 mm. The insertable tools can be adjusted infinitely variable lengthwise via a set screw in the Z-axis.
