HydroPin
The Gewefa ‘HydroPin’ single point boring bar toolholder utilises the proven tool grip features of a hydraulic chuck with the added advantage of guaranteeing fixed orientation when positioning the bar.
The stop pin provides automatic orientation of the tip centre height, eliminating manual adjustment and providing repeatable accuracy, the bar locating against the pin at a 30º angle.
Advantages of the hydraulic chuck include anti-vibration damping, a 50% increase in cutter life resulting in improved surface finish.
