Andy Phillips has a passion for flying. He is also a passionate engineer.
One of the key components in his aircraft is the Fuel Valve. Having reviewed the components, and like any good engineer, he decided he could make a better system.
These fuel valves are now sold around the world and his sub-contract business has taken off!
Part of Andair’s success is their investment in Citizen Miyano machines.
Proud owners of 5 of them, the latest investment is the ABX 64 SYY2 sporting a magnificent twin spindle, twin turret configuration.
This has enabled the team to halve cycle times on some of their components; but don’t take our word for it, here is what Andy’s son, Owen has to say.
