High-speed, affordable horizontal machining centres

Starrag has broken new ground in affordable yet highly productive and high-speed five-axis machining with a series of Heckert horizontal machining centres having traverse rates up to 80 m/min! Including the H Series and the five-axis X40, the machines have fast acceleration rates (1.2 g), toolchange/chip-to-chip times (2.2 secs) and pallet change times (8.5 secs). Available within just 12 weeks, the machine’s modular design enables the use of 400 mm or 500 mm pallets, and spindle and column options for machining all material types across all industry sectors.
