ITC have Cupro Coating Endmills for Difficult Materials

In early 2016 ITC Tooling launched a series of five-flute harmonic endmills designed to ensure high machining performance when processing difficult materials.

The new 5021 cyber series is a straight-shank, square-end centre cutting range with a flute geometry that is claimed to result in excellent material removal rates.

According to the company, the endmills are manufactured from ultra-wear-resistant micro-grain carbide that is Cupro coated to extend tool life and improve machining stability.

Their unequal flute spacing is designed to reduce machining noise and vibration by eliminating the harmonic effect of the cutters.
