We recently visited Apeks Marine Equipment – This is a classic example of where engineers decided they could do it better. Having a keen interest in scuba diving (thanks to Jaqcues Cousteau), Ken Ainscough and Eric Partington decided they could make a better regulator themselves. The rest is history – since the company started in the mid 70’s it has grown and grown, now exporting it’s respirators around the world.
