Potential Partnering and Co-Operation for Vero Brands From Latvian Show

Vero Software’s official distributor in the Baltics demonstrated three CAD/CAM packages and the stable’s powerful independent CAD viewer, at the Tech Industry trade fair in Latvia, resulting in potential partnering with equipment and tooling producers.

Dreambird shared a booth at the show in Riga’s International Exhibition Centre, with the Italian Machinery Association, featuring Edgecam, Radan, VISI and WorkXplore. Dreambird’s marketing specialist, Ada Lakevich, says the exhibition was the perfect venue for Latvian manufacturers to see the most recent metalworking software technologies.

“Tech Industry 2018 is an international trade fair for a variety of sectors, including mechanical engineering, metalworking, automation, tools and innovative technology.”

Discussions began with potential partners at the show, about the possibility of supplying Edgecam with their products throughout the Baltic countries. Also, a major Austrian mould and die manufacturer, Meusburger, is establishing a Baltic division, and discussions at the show led to plans for holding joint seminars about their products and VISI next year.

The booth also featured a range of CNC machine tools and other machinery, provided by the Italian Machinery Association, including punching and bending equipment from Euromac and Vimercati, along with Wilson Tooling, Lista, Modula, Stock&Go storage solutions, and Costa Levigatrici deburring and polishing machines.

Visitors were interested in new and enhanced functionality in Radan 2019 R1, and, thanks to the machines on the booth, were able to see parts being produced after the NC code was generated in Radan…and how quickly the code can be amended if required.
