ITC Targets European Growth with EMO Debut

At this year’s EMO show in Hannover, Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) will be making its exhibition debut on Stand F47 in Hall 005 with ambitions of expanding its already extensive European footprint.

ITC has long established its industry leading position as a UK cutting tool innovator of prestige. Now, the Tamworth manufacturer is capitalising upon its reputation in the UK by looking for additional European distribution partners.  ITC has been working with a number of technical distribution partners around Europe for a number of years. However, company expansion in 2016 and continuous investment in technologically advanced production equipment has laid the platform to strengthen its position on the continent.

The event from the 16th to 21st September will be the springboard for ITC to further enhance its pan-European presence whilst introducing its latest trochoidal milling innovations that have proven their benefits in the UK’s high-tech aerospace, motorsport, mould & die and general engineering industries.

Taking just a snapshot of ITC’s extensive trochoidal milling portfolio, experts at the show will be keen to introduce the company’s Cupro coated harmonic flute geometry 5021 Series of 5-flute end mills as well as the new 5031 Series stub length square-end tools that recently made a debut in ITC’s 2019 (Issue 14) product catalogue. From the 6-flute trochoidal milling stable, ITC will be showing the impressive new 6051 Series of square-end or multiple corner radii tools that will be supported by the 6011-F, 6021-F and 6031-F with countless other ranges suitable for trochoidal machining at the show.

The comprehensive product portfolio will be demonstrated at EMO with stand visitors getting an overview of the unparalleled product range that encompasses everything from square, ball nose and radius tools of unfathomable dimension, geometry and coating choices. Additionally, ITC offers an exceptional variety of chamfer tools, countersink, thread milling, drilling and reaming products. As an industry leader in the aerospace and motorsport sectors, ITC has an extensive range of diamond coated and PCD multi-flute routing tools and end mills for the machining of CFRP, GFRP, carbon fiber, graphite and all other light-weighting materials that are particularly challenging to machine.

Underpinning the tooling range for CFRP, GFRP, graphite and carbon fiber machining, ITC is also an industry leader in the sign-making, print, packaging and woodworking industries. To cater for these industry sectors, the company will introduce its IRIDIS coated line of tools that deliver unprecedented tool life and surface finish performance on aluminium and aluminium composite materials (ACM). The IRIDIS coating technology has now been added to ITC’s most popular tooling ranges, such as the 180 A-Series and the STA series of standard and balanced routing tools.

For manufacturers applying balanced tools to high-speed digital cutting tables that are machining aluminium and ACM, the results of the IRIDIS coated tools is impressive. With the exponential rise of the digital cutting table, ITC has an established position as a full-line supplier of knife blade solutions that include oscillating blades, flat and round shank drag knife blades and rotation blades in a vast array of geometries and sizes.
