Future Engineering Ireland returns to National Supply Chain and Manufacturing Conference & Exhibition for 2020

The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) is delighted to announce that Future Engineering Ireland (FEI) will once again be part of the National Supply Chain and Manufacturing Conference & Exhibition in Dublin in January 2020.

Following the success of the event in January of this year, the organisers have extended the exhibition to cover two-days. The 2020 edition of FEI will take place on 29-30th January at CItyWest, Dublin.

The exhibition will provide a great opportunity for manufacturing technology providers to show off their latest innovations to potential customers closer to their businesses than ever before. Future Engineering Ireland proved a great success in 2019 and has the potential to carve out an even bigger place in the Irish manufacturing landscape.

This year’s show saw over 6,100 delegates attend the event, and as a result the 2020 edition is expanding to become a two-day event to accommodate the increased numbers and larger footprint of the show.

Kevin Gilbert, Managing Director Mills CNC, said “Mills CNC has a massive customer base across the whole island of Ireland, this being built over many years of hard work by our business manager covering this area promoting Mills CNC and Doosan Machine Tools. Many of our customers were visiting FEI 2019 and so it was a great way to see many good customers and friends in the 1 day period in a good central location being Dublin,  CityWest has good facilities for an exhibition and with the hotel attached making it an excellent location for the event.”

He continued “The organisation of the event from setup through to breakdown was very good. Visitor attendance was excellent. FEI 2020 becoming a 2-day event will enhance the exhibition and I am sure will grow the visitor numbers. We booked our stand within 5 minutes of the floor plan being released. I am sure FEI 2020 will be a great start to the year for Mills CNC.”

Like Mills CNC, Hurco also exhibited and had a successful show at FEI 2019. Graham Maskell, Export Sales Manager at Hurco explains why they are so keen to return to the 2020 edition of the show “Future Engineering Ireland 2019 presented us with an opportunity to exhibit some of our great products and we even sold the machine that was on our stand by the end of the show to a new customer in Galway. It was good opportunity to meet potential new customers and catch with existing customers and friends. It was a great show and we look forward to the 2020 exhibition.”

James Fudge, Head of Events & Member Services at the MTA said “The show is a great platform for our Members to showcase themselves in the Irish market. Whilst a number of our members have a good customer base with our closest neighbour, the show provides the opportunity to meet with the wider manufacturing community”.
