New appointments enhance customer service from XYZ Machine Tools

Customer service has always been a priority at XYZ Machine Tools from initial sale through to ongoing support for machine installations. Recent additions to its service team bring the numbers of engineers up to 18 and, XYZ has also recognised the expertise of Julia Aggett who after eight years in the sales office has been promoted to Customer Services Manager.

Julia’s promotion is in recognition of her excellent administration skills that have been brought to the fore in her sales role over the past eight years at XYZ Machine Tools. Her ability to plan and organise a team will be used to further develop the high levels of service that XYZ customers already benefit from. “I am relishing the opportunity to develop our existing customer support.  We are expanding the service team and making changes to our way of working to ensure that we can respond to customer needs in the shortest possible time” says Julia.

Evidence of this positive effect is the addition of three new service engineers to the team with Mark Thorby providing additional service cover in East Anglia and Cambridge; Allan Walker working alongside customers in the South West of England and Wales; and Jack Roderick extending service coverage in the North of England. In addition, the team has also been enhanced with the appointments of Victoria Hiller and Rebecca Kemp as Customer Service Representatives who join the Help Desk team at XYZ’s headquarters in Devon.
