Real-Time Information Easily Obtainable with MIE Dashboard

Every company should have the information they need at their fingertips, 24/7, without having to trawl through and export tons of data only to then realise the data is outdated due to constant business progression and transactions that happen whilst going through this cumbersome and lengthy process.

MIETrak Pro’s MIE Dashboard module is a powerful and customisable feature allowing users to create graphical displays of KPI (Key performance Indicator) data that is of interest to them. On top of that, the data is real time; meaning for example, as soon as an enquiry has been dealt with or a works order has been completed and is ready to ship, the relevant dashboards will reflect this instantly. The possibilities with the dashboards are innumerable! As long as the required data is stored in the system, we can extract and display it in any way, shape or form that you wish. They can be as simple as colour coded lists and pie/bar graphs or as advanced as pivot tables, scatter and gauge charts or even maps segmented by country or county. Below are a few (but by no means limited to) examples of information manufacturers require on a daily basis:

– Enquiries received but not yet dealt with and also enquiries that need chasing
– Quotation analysis – Quotation lead times, capture rates etc.
– Firm and forecast order values – Value of backlog, value of what’s been shipped this month, value of what should be shipped next month etc.
– Employee efficiency data – actual vs estimate
– WIP/ Job costing – actual cost vs estimate cost
– Works orders that have the potential to be late
– Quality control data – customer, internal and supplier rejects
– Job tracking – progress of the job, hours booked so far, how many hours are left on the job etc.
– Capacity/ scheduling data – How much capacity have we used and how much we have left, when is the earliest we can get this job complete by?
– Invoice value – The value of what’s been invoiced this week/ month/ year?
– Gross Profit analysis

Having access to this type of information similar to the above is vital, and being able to dynamically drill down and manipulate the information can really make the difference in getting the most out of the data that has been presented. You may, for example, have a bar chart showing the value of your open order book per quarter. This type of information is great, but being able to then click on the bar graph for Quarter 1 and see the order book value per month within that quarter followed by drilling down further into the month of January to see the value of orders per customer within that month is really where the detail lies.

The ability to present this information to the relevant people is of course also key. MIE Dashboard is able to be ran as a separate executable file; meaning that it does not require a license and so can be distributed to as many screens as you wish around the office and shop floor at no extra cost.
