Having an extensive machine shop, part of their suite of machines is ‘Citizen City’, comprising 10 Citizen Cincom sliding head machines.
Graham, the MD, says that the Citizen machines are ‘Bulletproof’, but their first venture into LFV has been an absolute game changer.
You would expect high volume work from the sliding head machines, but Graham’s focus is accuracy. They have always had this from their Citizen machines, but with the addition of LFV they are able to run swarf free for much much longer whilst retaining extremely tight tolerances.
