ZEISS Discuss Contract Measurements and Incentives For Customers!

Paul is in Rugby at ZEISS’ headquarters with David Shute, a company well known by our viewers for supplying fantastic hardware solutions and software solutions for industrial metrology, but beyond that, David explains contract measurement to us.

“Contraction measurement for us is a big part of our business, it’s very popular to a number of ZEISS customers and non-ZEISS customers, we offer subcontract measurement throughout all of our portfolio not just the tactile systems you see here but the multisensory systems as well also the computer tomography stuff and another part of our business the IQS. IQS stands for Industrial Quality Solutions, we also cover the microscopy side of the business, that’s light microscopy and also scanning electron microscope stuff.”

David also explained that because ZEISS is regarded as the precision leaders globally, people will approach them with a measurement problem that requires additional precision, alongside others who do not wish to buy. Machine but wish to utilise the precision measuring services.

Alongside the extensive knowledge in precision and the contract measurement services, the company is also offering a great incentive.

David explained: “We have got an offer going on at the moment, where if a customer is out there with a tricky problem they are trying to solve, then we are quite happy for them to come and sit down with us and we will go through the initial consultation and providing we feel it’s something we can solve quickly and efficiently and quickly, we’ll do it for them free of charge.”
