Supplied by Hyfore, the Halter Robotic solution can be added to any machine tool. A simple installation that allows manufacturers to run unmanned. Recently a pair of Halter robots have been integrated at Rotec Engineering, one to a machining centre and one to a turning centre. Interesting to hear the strategy adopted here, one machine is running unmanned on prismatic parts and the other on cylindrical. Paul explains the benefits the company has experienced.
